Comenzaron como una banda de Death Metal bastante sucio y con mucha energía en sus demos y en sus 3 álbumes Scream Bloody Gore , Leprosy  y Spiritual Healing (este último llegando a sonar algo más suave y con letras sobre la mente humana). Su estilo cambió a un Death Metal Progresivo a partir del álbum Human , al igual que con la letra, con un sonido bastante complejo y con mucha técnica, para posteriormente replicar su estilo en los siguientes álbumes Individual Thought Patterns , Symbolic y el conocidísimo The Sound Of Perseverance . 1987 - Scream Bloody
